I got my proof of Stenson Blues back about a week ago.  I’m working my way through it and haven’t posted as I probably should.  The proof reminds me of just how hard it is to proofread your own writing.  It also shows me just how much a creature of habit I am.  We all have writing habits that we should probably try to kick, but it’s hard to recognize them until someone else points them out.  Now I’m working to get the final review completed.  Hopefully this will be up at Amazon within a few weeks.

I’ve been thinking about taking some copy editing courses lately.  I figure it’ll help me with my own novels and I can trade off edits with others.  I’ve been critiquing with others for years, but learning the more formal process can only help, right?
